RetailSync Pro Roadmap: What We're Building Next
Published 13 June 2026 • 5 min read • Written by a retail store manager
RetailSync Pro started as a tool one store manager built to solve their own problem — replacing a messy spreadsheet with something that actually worked for a busy retail week. It's still being shaped the same way: based on what managers tell us they need on the shop floor, not what looks good on a slide deck. Here's where things stand today, and what we're working on next.
Live Today
Everything below is already built and working in RetailSync Pro:
- Weekly rota builder with multi-shift days and default shifts that auto-fill each week
- Contracted vs overtime split, with OCH (over-contracted hours) flagged automatically
- Leave tracker with automatic balance deductions and holiday hours included in your weekly totals
- Staff portal via QR code — staff view shifts and request holiday with no login or app download
- Payroll & tax estimates calculated from the hours you've already scheduled
- PDF rota export for printing or sharing with your team
- Multi-store support, including a Growth plan with two bundled stores
- Mobile-friendly PWA — installs to your home screen on iOS and Android
If you haven't seen these in action yet, the features section on the homepage walks through each one.
Coming Soon
These are actively in development:
- Shift swap requests — staff propose a swap with a colleague, you approve it with one tap and the rota updates itself
- Push notifications — get notified the moment a holiday request comes in, or when a rota you've published gets viewed
- Payroll software exports — send approved hours straight to tools like Xero and QuickBooks instead of re-typing them at month-end
- Labour cost reporting — track wage cost as a percentage of sales over time, not just hours for a single week
On the Horizon
Further out, we're exploring:
- Native iOS & Android app store listings, on top of the installable PWA that's already available
- Clock in / clock out, with actual hours compared automatically against the published rota
- Team announcements — broadcast a message to every staff member's portal at once
- API access for Enterprise customers who want to connect RetailSync Pro to their existing systems
Built Around Manager Feedback
None of this is set in stone. Priorities shift based on what the managers on our waitlist tell us they're missing most — so if there's something that would make your week easier and it's not on this list, that's exactly the kind of thing we want to hear about.
Join the waitlist to get notified as these features ship, and to have a say in what we build next.
